The Gardens started out as boat storage in the 1920’s and has gone through many transformations since. The bar was a friendly summer hangout for many years as the much beloved Bavarian Gardens. It went through a major remodel in 2004 and reopened with a new look and the new name Whiskey Dicks. 2006 brought new people and ideas to the bar. We all jumped at the opportunity to rename the bar back to The Gardens hoping to recapture some of the fun, music and lightheartedness of the good old Bavarian Gardens days.
